According to statistics Florida is a state that represents great opportunities for the investor. Property prices are low, almost back to where they started back in 2002. However as an investor you should excercise caution as to where and what you buy. Also bare in mind that you may not see the returns on your investments as quickly as what was achieved by investors between the periods of 2002 to 2006.
Wages are also moderately low which should be great for companies seeking to set up or to relocate to low labour cost State.
